PRIVACY POLICY
 
This notice explains what information we collect, when we collect it and how we use this. During the course of our activities, we will process personal data (which may be held on paper, electronically, or otherwise) about you and we recognise the need to treat it in an appropriate and lawful manner. The purpose of this notice is to make you aware of how I/we will handle your information.
 
Who we are
SWIP Ltd a company incorporated in England and Wales with registered number 10831534 whose registered office is at Hanover Court, 5 Queen Street, Lichfield, WS13 6QD. We take the issue of security and data protection very seriously and strictly adhere to guidelines published in the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 which is applicable from the 25th of May 2018, together with any domestic laws subsequently enacted.
 
We are notified as a Data Controller with the Office of the Information Commissioner under registration number ZB921062 and we are the data controller of any personal data that you provide to us.

Information We Collect
We may collect your full name, phone number, company name and address, profile photo, login credentials, and usage data. We do not knowingly collect special category data.
 
How We Use Your Information
We use your data to register and manage your account, provide and improve services, communicate updates, ensure compliance, and monitor platform performance.
 
Lawful Basis for Processing
Your data is processed based on contractual necessity, legal obligation, legitimate interest, and consent (for profile photos and optional features).
 
Sharing Your Data
Unless required to do so by law, I/we will not otherwise share, sell or distribute any of the information you provide to me/ us without your consent. 
Please note that we may share your data with third-party service providers in relation to inspections and warranty procedures. These providers may contact you directly for matters related to such services. All third parties are bound by data protection obligations.

Data Retention
We review our data retention periods regularly and will only hold your personal data for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as required by law (We may be legally required to hold some types of information), or as set out in any relevant contract we have with you. You may request deletion at any time.
